Interview:
Gary Kent,
"Frame Switch"
In director Drew Thomas’ Austin-shot found-footage thriller Frame Switch, an out-of-control wildfire in the fictional Texas city of Evergreen covers up a conspiracy that leads back to city officials, two corrupt police detectives, and the state’s most powerful attorney. Out to expose the truth: disgraced attorney Spenser Sharp (Jon Michael Davis), city auditor Mercedes Lara (Deanna Brochin), and three high school students assigned to make a documentary about the wildfire. Standing in their way: shady attorney Alfred Whitby (played by veteran actor/director/stuntman Gary Kent). Written by John Herndon, Frame Switch will screen 6 p.m. March 17 at the Galaxy Highland 10. Frame Switch marks Drew Thomas’ feature-length directorial debut. Frame Switch director Drew Thomas (left) and Deanna Brochin (center) join Gary Kent (right) during this interview.
