Mondo Senior Creative Directors,
"Godzilla: A Poster Show"
Up from the depths. Thirty stories high. Breathing fire. His head in the sky. It's Godzilla: The Poster Show from Mondo, the Alamo Drafthouse’s collectible art boutique. While the Mondo Gallery March 15 show was cancelled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the 24 posters by 11 artists will be available online beginning 11 a.m. central March 19. Godzilla: The Poster Show focuses mostly on the Shōwa era (1954-1975) of Toho's legendarily film franchise, which began with 1954's Godzilla. The show also features a print of King of the Monster, that's inspired by his appearance in 1995's Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, by Canadian artist and Mondo regular contributor Jason Edmiston.
