The inaugural Austin Arthouse Film Festival will be held Oct. 20 at the AFS Cinema. The festival will feature two blocks devoted to short films made locally and nationally, with the family friendly PG block beginning at 6 p.m. and the adult-themed R block beginning at 8:30 p.m. The feature will close with an awards ceremony.
