Interview:
Cooper Raiff,
writer/director,
"S#!%house"
The winner of this year's SXSW Film Festival Narrative Feature Competition Grand Jury Award, S#!%house examines the aftermath of one memorable night two college students spend together. First-time writer/director and Dallas native Cooper Raiff stars as Alex, a lonely freshman who believes he makes a strong connection with his dorm RA, Maggie (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's Dylan Gelula), after a night of walking and talking. The next morning, though, Alex senses a chilliness from Maggie that suggests she is less interested in him than he is in her. S#!%house , which was to premiere locally during this year's cancelled SXSW Film Festival, opened Oct. 16 in Austin and also is available for VOD and digital viewing.
