ATX Television Festival
The seventh annual ATX Television Festival will be held June 7-10 at, among other venues, the Alamo Ritz and the Stateside at the Paramount. The festival opens with a screening of the new HBO miniseries Sharp Objects with star Amy Adams, director jean-Marc Vallee, and author/writer Gillian Flynn in attendance. Other highlights include A Conversation with Ray Liotta, A Conversation with ATX Award in Television eXellence recipient Marcy Carsey, the Felicity: 20-Year Reunion with Keri Russell and Scott Speedman, among others, a Futurama Table-Read Reunion, a Nash Bridges Writers Reunion, a thirtysomething reunion with cast and creators, and the Breaking Bad: Saul’s Origin Story screening with executive producer Vince Gilligan and star Bob Odenkirk. There will be panels devoted to The Americans, American Vandals, Genius, The Good Wife, One Day at a Time, Wynonna Earp, and the upcoming Stephen King shared universe series Castle Rock. There will be screenings of episodes of such current and upcoming shows as The Affair, The Bold Type, Brockmire, Claws, Condor, Drunk History, Get Shorty, Lodge 49, Love is _____, Sons of Anarchy spinoff Mayans M.C., Queen Sugar, Somebody Feed Phil, Station 19, Strange Angel, Take My Wife, Trial & Error, Waco, and Younger. Also, there will be a screening of two episodes of Parks and Recreation at Hotel San Jose Park on June 8 that is open to the public.
