Co-produced by the Austin-based Paper Street Pictures, the Christmas chiller A Creature Was Stirring stars This Is Us’ Chrissy Metz as Faith, a nurse keeping her unstable teenage daughter under lock and key in a highly medicated state while she also battles her own demons. But Faith’s carefully laid plans go awry on Christmas when two hitchhikers break into her house to seek shelter from a treacherous blizzard. Their unwelcome presence triggers the appearance of a malevolent creature of unknown origin. A Creature Was Stirring also stars Ouija: Origin of Evil’s Annalise Basso as Metz’s daughter Charm, Scout Taylor-Compton of the Rob Zombie Halloween series as hitchhiker and religious fanatic Liz, and Stakeland’s Connor Paolo as Liz’s brother Kory. Directed by Damien LeVeck, and written by Shannon Wells, A Creature Was Stirring is now available for digital and VOD viewing. Damien LeVeck previously directed the 2019 horror film The Cleansing Hour, which screen at the 2019 Fantastic Fest.
