The second Austin Student Film Festival will be held 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at St. Michael’s Catholic Academy. The festival will feature 31 short films, made by high school and college students from across the world, and two films by independent filmmakers. The Austin Student Film Festival is programmed by James Christopher, the organizer of the Austin Revolution Film Festival. St. Michael’s Catholic Academy is represented in the festival by Room 701, a student-made sci-fi short written by Bella Marco and starring Kevin Swanson.
