Indie Meme Film Festival
The Indie Meme Film Festival is going virtue. Devoted to South Asian independent cinema, the Indie Meme Film Festival was scheduled to be held in early April at the AFS Cinema. The coronavirus pandemic forced Indie Meme to move its film festival online, with six features and three shorts packages scheduled to screen the weekends of May 1-3 and May 8-10 at (https://www.indiememe.org). Indie Meme will attempt to duplicate the film festival experience by programming each film to screen at a specific time and date, beginning May 1 with the documentary Aunty Sudha, Aunty Radha. The other narrative and documentary features are Tale of Rising Rani, The Orphanage, Coral Woman, Aamis, and Eeb Allay Ooo! Each feature will be followed by a love or recorded Zoom filmmaker interview.
