Directed by Alex Pritz, the National Geographic documentary The Territory goes deep into the heart of the Brazilian Amazon to chronicle the never-ending fight waged by the Indigenous Uru-eu-wau-wau people against farmers and illegal settlers intent on invading, deforesting, and developing Indigenous territory. The Sundance 2022 audience and jury award winner chronicles the Uru-eu-wau-wau people's embrace on modern technology in their bid to preserve their territory through the leadership of 18-year Bitaté Uru-eu-wau-wau.
