"Divine Access'
Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga and Revolution) stars as accidental spiritual guru Jack Harriman in writer/director Steven Chester Prince’s Austin-shot dramedy Divine Access. Jack becomes a regional sensation after he cuts down to size the homophobic reverend and host of a cable access TV show. His experiences with different spiritual groups, his thoughts on God and faith, and his ability to connect with audiences both devout and skeptical leads him to undertake a speaking tour that he dismisses as nothing more than an opportunity to bed his most ardent female followers. By the time Jack’s ready to return home, he’s in search of more than just pleasures of the flesh. Divine Access also stars Gary Cole as the disgraced Reverend Guy Roy Davis; Patrick Warburton as cable access TV station manager Bob McCord; Joel David Moore as Jack’s tour assistant and “catcher”; Dora Madison as Amber, a prostitute Jack befriends on the road; Sarah Shahi as a woman of mystery that forces Jack to confront his own faith; and Adrienne Barbeau as Jack’s mother. Divine Access is now available for digital streaming and downloading. Divine Access marks the directorial debut of former Austinite Steven Chester Prince, who has appeared in The Alamo and Boyhood as well as the TV series Friday Night Lights.
