Inspired by the works of H.P Lovecraft, writer/director Chris LaMartina’s horror comedy Call Girl of Cthulhu pits humanity against the evil forces that seek to bring the malevolent alien deity back to Earth. Melissa O'Brien stars as Riley, the call girl targeted by Cthulhu’s disciplines for mysterious reasons; David Phillip Carollo plays artist Carter, the virgin who falls for the call girl with the heart of gold. Other Worlds Austin will screen Call Girl of Cthulhu, with Chris LaMartina and Melissa O'Brien, at 9 p.m. April 16 at the Alamo Drafthouse Village.
