Interview:
Amelia Moses,
writer/director,
"Bleed With Me"
Two’s company, three’s a crowd in writer/director Amelia Moses’ chiller Bleed With Me. Rowan accepts an invitation to join Emily and her boyfriend Brendan on a week-long getaway in the woods with the intention of getting to know her coworker better. But Emily’s family cabin quickly becomes too small for three people when Brendan makes it clear that he feels Rowan is intruding on his time with Emily. Brendan, though, becomes the least of Rowan’s problems. When she starts to wake up with fresh cuts on her arms, Rowan’s paranoia leads her to believe that her gracious host wants more than her friendship. Bleed With Me stars Lee Marshall as Rowan, Bloodthirsty's Lauren Beatty as Emily, and Aris Tyros as Brendan. Bleed With Me is available to stream beginning 10 p.m. Dec. 4 as part of the virtual Other Worlds Film Festival. Amelia Moses also will participate in the Other Worlds Film Festival conversation “The Female Gaze” at 6 p.m. Dec. 5. Bleed With Me represents Amelia Moses’ directorial debut. Moses’ second genre film, Bloodthirsty, screened during this year’s Fantastic Fest.
