Written and directed by the Austin-based Jim Hickcox, the horror comedy Soft Matter follows two graffiti artists as they sneak into what they believe is an abandoned building but is actually a research facility where a small group of scientists conduct experiments to unlock the key to human immortality. The facility also is home to a number of failed research subjects and a being with immense power. Soft Matter is now available on DVD and for digital downloading and streaming. Jim Hickcox previously directed the horror comedy short Slow Creep.
