Austin Jewish Film Festival
The Austin Jewish Film Festival runs Nov. 5-11 at the Regal Arbor Cinema at Great Hills and the City Lights Schulman Theatre in Georgetown. The festival opens Nov. 5 with the Natalie Portman-directed drama A Tale of Love and Darkness and continues with the French drama To Life, the thrillers A Grain of Truth and Remember, and the documentaries Raise the Roof and Jerry Lewis: The Man Behind the Clown. The festival also will screen the films made during this year’s Lights! Camera! Chutzpah!, a Jewish-themed 24-hour filmmaking workshop open to all teens aged 13-18. Lights! Camera! Chutzpah! producer and Austin Jewish Film Festival committee member Wendy R. Corn (right) joins festival director Cynthia Winer (left) during this interview.
