Interview:
Michael Felker,
writer/director,
"Things Will Be Different"
Directed by Michael Felker, the time-bending two-hander Things Will Be Different finds two siblings on the run from the law and hiding out in a place where they believe no one can find them: the past. Sidney and Joseph take refuge in a remote farmhouse with a secret doorway that allows those in the know to travel back and forth in time. But the past quickly proves to be as fraught with danger as the present Joseph and Sidney have temporarily escaped. Christmas Bloody Christmas’s Riley Dandy stars as Sidney; Godless and A Teacher’s Adam David Thompson stars as Joseph. Things Will Be Different will screen as part of the SXSW Film & TV Festival’s Midnighter program at 6:15 p.m. March 15 at the Alamo South Lamar. Editor Michael Felker makes his feature directorial debut with Things Will Be Different. He is the go-to editor for directors Aaron Moorehead and Justin Benson (Something in the Dirt, Synchronic, The Endless, Spring), who served as executive producers of Things Will Be Different. Aired: March 13, 2024. Web sites: https://schedule.sxsw.com/ https://www.lastlifefilms.com/ |
