8th Indie Meme Film Festival
Dedicated to bringing the best in South Asian and Iranian cinema to Austin, the 8th Indie Meme Film Festival runs in-person April 12-16 at the AFS Cinema and online April 28-May 1. The in-person festival opens April 12 with the award-winning documentary All That Breathes and closes April 16 with the acclaimed action comedy Polite Society. Narrative features include Dhabari Quruvi, Eikhoigi Yum (Our Home), Goldfish, Hawa, Leila's Brothers, and the anthology Tell It Like a Woman. Documentary features include In Search of Bengali Harlem and While We Watched. Eikhoigi Yum (Our Home), Goldfish, and In Search of Bengali Harlem will also be available to stream during the virtual festival. Virtual exclusives available April 28-May 1 include the narrative features Kamli, Mariam, The Portraits, and Until Tomorrow, the documentary The Show Must Go On, and three shorts packages.
