Interview:
Janell Shirtcliff,
co-writer/director,
"Habit"
Directed by the Austin-based Janell Shirtcliff, the hyperkinetic neo-noir thriller Habit finds four party girls on the run from a ruthless drug lord out to retrieve her stolen money. Led by Bella Thorne’s Jesus-loving Mads, the girls pose as nuns in a bid to find sanctuary in an otherwise inhospitable L.A. The cast also includes Paris Jackson, Ione Skye, Josie Ho, and Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale. Habit is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD and for digital and on-demand viewing. Habit represents the directorial debut of actress/photographer Janell Shirtcliff. The Corpus Christi native and current Austin resident wrote Habit with her childhood friend, Libby Mintz, who stars opposite Bella Thorne as the equally endangered Evie.
