Highlights include the Lucrecia Martel's Salta Trilogy, The Three Colors Trilogy, and the Time Span: The Works of Nancy Holt miniseries. The AFS Cinema will host a screening of A24's Saint Maud with writer/director Rose Glass in attendance and revisit two equally haunting films that explore faith and spirituality, Persona and The Exorcist: The Director's Cut. The Austin Film Society will celebrate the life and career of the late Austin-based director Andrew Shapter with a screening of his 2015 hybrid documentary The Teller and the Truth. New releases include Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and the Band, Sorry We Missed You, and Slay the Dragon. The AFS Cinema also will serve as a SXSW satellite venue in March.
