The "Bright and Burly" YouTube channel, which debuted in January 2016, is the brainchild of San Marcos performers Jessica Brooks and Trey Palmer. The married couple’s channel includes comedy sketches about marriage, parenthood, tacos, guns, Texas tourism, Game of Thrones, and Pokémon GO. ​Jessica Brooks is a cast member of The Naked Feminist; Trey Palmer directed episodes of the Austin-shot YouTube comedy web series.
