Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival
The Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival will be held Nov. 4-5 at the Alamo Drafthouse Village. Organized by the Coalition of Texans with Disabilities, the film festival screens narrative and documentary features and shorts that address issues faced by people with disabilities. The festival opens Nov. 4 with The Rebound, a documentary about the wheelchair basketball team the Miami Heat Wheels, and will close Nov. 5 with Deaf Jam, a documentary about American Sign Language poet Aneta Brodski. There also will be screenings of the festival’s documentary and non-documentary short film competition finalists.
