Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival
The 16th annual Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival will be held Oct. 18 and 19 at the Alamo Drafthouse Village. This year's film festival will focus on adaptive fashion, with screenings of Jennifer Bracy's documentary Sew Adaptive and the documentary Runway of Dream, about differently abled fashion models. There also will be the CTDFF Adaptive Fashion Challenge and a Disability Fashion Styling presentation with cur8able's Stephanie Thomas. The festival includes screenings of the festival's narrative and documentary short film competition finalists and honorary entries. Breaking Bad costar RJ Mitte, an actor with cerebral palsy, will serve as the festival's guest host.
