Director Matthew Salleh's documentary Barbecue crisis-crosses the world to examine how different countries and cultures treat the act of cooking meat on grills on societal and economic levels. Salleh makes stops in his native Australia, Mongolia, South Africa and Sweden among other countries, and travels across Austin and the rest of Texas to talk with the owners of the state's best-known BBQ restaurants.
