Interview:
Josh Sternfeld,
director,
"Fortress: Sniper's Eye"
Picking up where last year's thriller Fortress left off, director Josh Sternfeld's Fortress: Sniper's Eye finds rogue spy Balzary (Chad Michael Murray) and his henchmen once again seizing control of the island community of retired government agents that Bruce Willis' former CIA operative Robert calls home. All that stands between Balzary hacking into the community's high-tech compound and unfreezing $600 million in ill-gotten gain are a wounded Robert, his estranged cryptocurrency entrepreneur son Paul (Jesse Metcalfe), and a few members of the island's security team. Fortress: Sniper's Eye, which opened April 29 at the Galaxy Theatres Austin, is now available for digital and on-demand viewing. The sequel, which represents one of the final films Bruce Willis made before he retired for health reasons, will debut June 7 on Blu-Ray and DVD. Josh Sternfeld previously directed Winter Solstice and Meskada. Aired: April 28, 2022. Web site: https://www.lionsgate.com/movies/fortress-snipers-eye |
