"Married"
Created by Andrew Gurland, the FX sitcom Married stars Nat Faxon and Judy Greer as Russ and Lina, respectively, a couple that struggles to make time for each other—especially in the bedroom—and to make ends meet for them and their kids. The cast also includes Jenny Slate as Russ’ close friend Jess and Paul Reiser as her husband Shep. Brett Gelman also stars as the recently divorced A.J., who went to rehab at the end of Married’s first season to kick his drug habit. Married returns to FX for its second season on July 16. Sarah Burns will join the cast as single mother Abby. Andrew Gurland co-founded the New York Underground Film Festival and directed the films Mail Order Wife and The Virginity Hit with Huck Botko. They also wrote the 2010 found-footage horror film The Last Exorcism. Andrew Gurland will join Married stars Nat Faxon, Judy Greer, Sarah Burns, and Brett Gelman at 7:30 p.m. June 5 at the State Theater for an ATX Television Festival panel on the FX sitcom.
