Interview:
Carrye Glazer,
executive producer,
"Kings of Atlantis"
Animated by the Austin-based Mighty Coconut, the YouTube Red 13-episode family-friendly series Kings of Atlantis pits two princes against the uncle who steal the crown to their underwater kingdom. The coup occurs when the King abdicates and names his adopted sons Joe, a chicken, and Cody, a penguin, joint rulers. Uncle Phaeton does not believe the crown should be split between two outsiders. Kings of Atlantis premiered April 7 on the Minecraft-inspired YouTube channel TheAtlanticCraft, with a new episode debuting every Friday through May 26. Mighty Coconut is an Austin-based animation and visual effects studio behind the shorts Pigeon: Impossible and The Oceanmaker. Kings of Atlantis director and Mighty Coconut’s director/executive producer Timothy T. Cunningham joins the show's executive producer and Mighty Coconut’s head of original content/producer Carrye Glazer during this interview.
