2020 GTX Virtual Film Festival
![]() With the Coronavirus pandemic forcing the cancelation of its second annual film festival in the City of Georgetown, GTX Film is going virtual with a showcase of narrative and documentary features and shorts made both near and far. The 2020 GTX Virtual Film Festival will be held July 23-25 at http://gtxfilm.org with features and shorts packages scheduled to stream at specific times. Austin filmmaker Phillip Guzman’s psychosexual thriller House of Glass opens the GTX Virtual Film Festival on July 23 while the Austin-made documentaries Heads-Up: Will We Stop Making Centsand Hiko in Tonga–A Culture Almost Lost will stream July 25. Other features includes At the End of Eight, When All That’s Life is Love, Bullet Trip from Japan, and #STEALTH from Russia. There also will be shorts packages on July 23 and 25. Each screening will conclude with a filmmaker Q&A.
