"Role Play"
Directed by Thomas Vincent, the action comedy Role Play finds Emma Brackett (Kaley Cuoco) juggling the demands of being a suburban wife and mother with her career as a high-priced freelance assassin. Emma goes on the run when her cover is blown and her disgruntled former employer, a shadowy private security agency known as Sovereign, wants to settle old scores. All of this is news to Emma's mild-mannered husband Dave (David Oyelowo), who must wrestle with his wife's secret double life while keeping himself and their children out of harm's way. The cast also includes Connie Nielsen as Sovereign's devious boss Gwen Carver and Bill Nighy as rival hitman Bob Kellerman. Role Play premieres Jan. 10 on Prime Video. French director Thomas Vincent makes his English-language feature film debut with Role Play. He previously directed The New Life of Paul Sneijder, Mister Bob, The Hook, Karnaval, and episodes of the TV series Bodyguard and Reacher. Posted: Jan. 12, 2024. Web site: https://www.amazon.com/ |
