Panic 2026
Don’t panic—the Paramount Theatre’s annual spooky season of horror films is back, even if the venue remains closed for renovation until next summer. The Panic 2026 series will terrorize audiences at both the adjacent State Theatre and the Bob Bullock IMAX Theatre. The series kicks off at 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at the State Theatre with a double bill of the original Friday the 13th and Mario Bava’s 1971 chiller A Bay of Blood. The rest of the State Theatre’s lineup comprises of Train to Busan, Monster House, Halloweentown, the director’s cut of The Little Shop of Horrors, the Master Pancake mock of The Lost Boys, and the double bills Carrie and Jennifer’s Body, Dracula and Frankenstein, The Abominable Dr. Phibes and Malignant, and The First Omen and The Omen. The Bob Bullock IMAX Theatre will host screenings of It, Nope, The Witch, Sinners, and Hereditary. The series concludes at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Bass Concert Hall with a 30th anniversary screening of Scream followed by “Behind The Scream: A Live Conversation with David Arquette.”
