The inaugural pop culture convention PCX Austin will be held 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 15 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Fairmont Austin. The convention includes three major TV series and videogame reunions: Buffy the Vampire Hunter and Angel, with James Marsters, Julie Benz, Charisma Carpenter, and James C. Leary; Netflix’s live-action One Piece, with Mikaela Hoover, Jeff Ward, Steven John Ward, and John Gremillion; and Red Dead Redemption II, with Roger Clark, Rob Wiethoff, Benjamin Byron Davis, Peter Blomquist, and Kaili Vernoff. Buffy’s James Marsters will perform in concert on Saturday evening. The convention also includes panels devoted to stunts, Chinese Superheroes in American Culture, Superhero Science, and Superhero Mythos; an artists alley featuring comic creators; cosplay contests; Lego speed building challenges; interactive experiences; and a vendor floor.
