Interview:
Adam Wingard,
director,
"Onslaught"
Set in the same universe as the 2011 home invasion slasher You're Next and the 2014's thriller The Guest, director Adam Wingard's Onslaught pits the residents of a New Mexico desert trailer park against three rogue super soldiers. Hit Man's Adria Arjona stars as Celeste, a retired U.S. Army sniper who must protect her young daughter Daisy (Blake Kennedy) from the soldiers genetically engineered by German scientist Dr. Hans Kammler (The Guest's Dan Stevens). Onslaught also stars Die Hard's Reginald VelJohnson as veteran Josiah, Rebecca Hall as Dr. Kammler's wife Hanna, and Michael Biehn and Drew Starkey as military operatives. Onslaught opened Sept. 4 in theaters. Adam Wingard and his Onslaught screenwriter Simon Barrett previously collaborated on A Horrible Way to Die, Autoerotic, You're Next, The Guest, the 2016 Blair Witch sequel, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Wingard also directed Home Sick, Pop Skull, Death Note, and Godzilla vs. Kong. Aired: Sept. 2, 2026. Web site: https://a24films.com/films/onslaught |
