![]() Directed by Yuta Yamaguchi, the short documentary Still Drawing offers a loving portrait of Vijay Chaturvedi, an Indian-American Austinite who spends his retirement days reading classic literature, studying the great philosophers, and perfecting his skills as a sketch artist. Still Drawing screens at 5:30 p.m. June 26 at the AFS Cinema as part of the Austin Asian American Film Festival’s Texas Shorts block. Austin-based filmmaker Yuta Yamaguchi previously directed the short films The Trees Ahead, Matsuri, Jazz Abroad, Love is in the Air, and Spare Some Change. Aired: June 25, 2025.
