Interview:
Todd Rohal,
writer/director,
"F*ck My Son!"
With his adventures at Adult Swim now firmly behind him, former Austinite Todd Rohal returns with his first feature film in a decade, the splatter comedy F*ck My Son! Adapted from the graphic novel by Johnny Ryan, the Austin-shot F*ck My Son! finds a mother and her preteen daughter kidnapped by an old lady on a strange and perverse mission. The old lady gives the mother an ultimatum: deflower her monstrously disfigured adult son or both mother and daughter will perish. Trapped in the basement of a secluded farmhouse, the mother endeavors to keep the old lady and her son at arm’s length while she concocts an escape plan. F*ck My Son! stars Tipper Newton as the mother, Kynzie Colmery as the daughter, Robert Longstreet as the old lady, and Steve Little as her son Fabian. F*ck My Son! will screen at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and at 2:40 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Alamo South Lamar during Fantastic Fest. Former Austinite Todd Rohal, who now lives in Tacoma, WA., previously directed the features Uncle Kent 2, Nature Calls, The Catechism Cataclysm, and The Guatemalan Handshake, the shorts Rat Pack Rat, and the ABCs of Death 2 segment “P is for Scary.” He also directed M.O.P.Z., The Suplex Duplex Complex, and Hunky Boys Go Ding-Dong for Adult Swim.
Note: F*ck My Son! opens Oct. 31 at the Alamo South Lamar. Aired: Sept. 17, 2025. Web sites: http://fantasticfest.com/ https://www.facebook.com/fantasticfest |
