![]() Directed by Scott Derrickson, the romantic chiller The Gorge stars Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy as snipers assigned to a mysterious mission in an unknown part of the world. Posted to watchtowers on the opposite side of a gorge, the snipers receive only one order: to stop what resides at the bottom of the gorge from escaping and fleeing into a world unaware of their existence. As days turns to weeks, Teller’s Levi and Taylor-Joy’s Drasa strike up a relationship despite the distance between them. But the risks they take to be together runs contrary to their missions, resulting in deadly consequences. The Gorge, which co-stars Sigourney Weaver, debuted Feb. 13 on AppleTV+. Scott Derrickson previously directed The Black Phone, Doctor Strange, Deliver Us from Evil, Sinister, The Day the Earth Stood Still remake, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and Hellraiser: Inferno.
