![]() The SXSW Film & TV Festival wants to keep you up past your bedtime and on the edge of your seat with this year’s selection of Midnighters. Or, in some cases, make you laugh yourself to death. The festival’s genre program features eight world premieres: the chillers Good Boy, Hallow Road, The Home, and The Surrender, the sci-fi thrillers Descendent and Redux Redux, and the comedies New Jack Fury and Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. Other genre offerings outside the Midnighter program include the narrative features The Astronaut, Ash, Clown in a Cornfield, Dead Lover, Death of a Unicorn, Drop, It Ends, One More Shot, O’Dessa, Touch Me, and We Bury the Dead; the TV series Happy Face; and documentaries The Age of Disclosure, Starman, Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, Zodiac Killer Project, and director Michael Bay’s We Are Storror. The SXSW Film & TV Festival runs March 7-15 at various Austin venues.
