"Bad Haircut"
A cool haircut town for just $7—what could go wrong? In writer/director Kyle Misak’s horror comedy Bad Haircut, high school nerd Billy (Spencer Harrison Levin) learns the true cost of frequenting the cheapest barbershop in town. Billy immediately feels ill at ease the second the strange and eccentric stylist Mick (Frankie Ray) picks up his trusty pair of scissors, Mr. Snips But when his friends leave to go shopping, Billy learns that there is more to Mick—and his barbershop—than meets the eye. Bad Haircut will screen at 2:10 p.m. Sept. 19 and 11:40 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Alamo South Lamar during Fantastic Fest. Kyle Misak previously directed the teacher-student character study Class of ‘85 and the sci-fi drama The Eden Theory.
