In Austin-based writer/director Kayla Lane Freeman's horror comedy short Plant Mom, a young woman finds herself alone and isolated after a devastating split with her girlfriend. Desperate to break out of her funk, Tori (Eva De Guelle) accepts an invitation to a propagation party held by a neighborhood group of plant moms. But what happens at the party will forever change Tori. Plant Moms will screen before the feature The Cramps: A Period Piece at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and 5:50 p.m Sept. 22 at the Alamo South Lamar during Fantastic Fest.
