![]() In November, the mobile drive-in theater Rocket Cinema puts down stakes at Cloud Tree Gallery for a series that combines films with live music performances by local artist. On Nov. 1, Rocket Cinema owner Justin Sherburn and his band Montopolis performs their original score to the 1911 silent chiller L’Inferno. Singers from LOLA, an Austin organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of opera, will perform before Moonstruck on Nov. 8. Moondogs pays tribute to The Band before the Nov. 15 screening of Martin Scorsese’ classic concert film The Last Waltz. The series closes Nov. 22 with The Ugly Beats performing before the Frankie Avalon-Annette Funicello teen comedy Bikini Beach. Prior to pulling up to the Cloud Tree Gallery, Rocket Cinema will present a Halloween screening of The Witch on Oct. 31 at Jester King Brewery. Aired: Oct. 30, 2024.
