In Austin-based cinematographer-turned-director Joey Hunt's supernatural short Esther, an elderly woman (Linda Browne) faces a moment of truth during a violent rainstorm that threatens to wreck her old farmhouse. Esther will screen at 11:05 a.m. Sept. 19 and 5 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Alamo South Lamar as part of Fantastic Fest’s Fantastic Fest shorts program.
