Austin Revolution Film Festival
The 14th annual Austin Revolution Film Festival runs Jan. 29-31, with screenings at the AFS Cinema and panels at the Holiday Inn Austin Midtown. The festival opens Jan. 29 with Austin-based director J. Budro Partida’s I Took the Road Less Traveled, a documentary about Spanish rock singer-songwriter and former Austinite Diego “Bull” Avello of Bull y los Búfalos. The festival closes Jan. 31 with the chiller The Pitchfork Retreat starring House of Abraham’s Lukas Hassel and the late Tony Todd. The AFS Cinema will also host shorts packages on Jan. 29 and 31. Panels on Jan. 30 include “Writing and Acting with Lukas Hassel” and “AI: Skynet or a Screwdriver (Menace or Tool).” Aired: Jan. 28, 2026.
