Featuring nine nonfiction films, the Austin Film Society’s Doc Days 2026 runs April 30-May 3 at the AFS Cinema. The film festival opens April 30 with Who Moves America, about collective action in the 2020s. Doc Days 2026 also features Aanikoobigigan [ancestor/great-grandparent/great-grandchild], Buck Harbor, Closure, Fantastique, The Lake, Shifting Baselines, Soul Patrol, and The Voyage Out. Other documentaries programmed at the AFS Cinema in April and May include Austin native Ben McKenzie’s Everyone is Lying to You for Money and Amy Goodman: Steal This Story, Please, with the Democracy Now! daily radio show co-founder, journalist, and anchor in attendance.​
