"Werewolves"
The Purge franchise star Frank Grillo knows a thing or two about trying to make it through a single night alive and in one piece. In the Steven C. Miller-directed ticking-clock action chiller Werewolves, billions of people across the world transform into lycanthropes during each and every supermoon. Grillo’s ex-military man and molecular biologist Wesley Marshall is tasked with testing a potential cure during the next supermoon. When the experiment goes awry, Grillo must cross a city crawlings with werewolves to prevent his sister-in-law and his niece from being devoured by the hungry, hairy predators. Werewolves opened Dec. 6 in theaters. In addition to starring in The Purge: Anarchy and The Purge: Election Year, Frank Grillo has appeared in Warrior, The Grey, End of Watch, Zero Dark Thirty, Homefront, Wolf Warrior 2, Wheelman, Black and Blue, Boss Level, Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, and Copshop. He also played Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. This year, he joined Season 2 of the Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King. He currently voices Rick Flag Sr. in the DC Universe animated series Creature Commandos and he will reprise the role of the comic-book hero in two James Gunn live-action projects, Season 2 of the MAX series Peacemaker and next summer’s Superman reboot.
