Written and directed by Eva Victor, the dramedy Sorry, Baby focuses on a young English literature professor coping with the trauma resulting from a life-altering event. Victor stars as Agnes, who finds herself turning to both friends and strangers to come to terms with what happened to her and how best to move forward. Told in five distinct chapters, Sorry, Baby also stars Naomi Ackie as Agnes’ best friend Lydie, Lucas Hedges as Agnes’ neighbor Gavin, and John Carroll Lynch as sympathy diner owner Pete. Sorry, Baby opened July 11 in Austin. Eva Victor makes their directorial debut with Sorry, Baby after transitioning from social media to television to film.
