The Comedy Film Festival
The second annual Comedy Film Festival runs April 25-27, with the Austin-centric Texas Short Film Showcase kicking off proceedings April 25 at the AFS Cinema before the festival relocates to its host venue, the Galaxy Theaters Austin. On April 26, the festival screens two Hollywood satires, the narrative P.I. comedy Reel Hard and the mockumentary The Second Coming of John Cooper. The festival also includes shorts and pilots packages, a panel devoted to comedy across various mediums, and a pitch competition. Aired: April 23, 2025.
