Directed by Kade Atwood and Megan Rico, the coming-of-age comedy Edie Arnold is a Loser focuses on the trials and tribulations of a Catholic high school student in search of her place in life. Edie Arnold (Adi Madden Cabrera) finds her safe space on stage when she and her best friend Frances (McKenna Tuckett) inadvertently form a pop punk band. But The Nundeads' efforts to win a "battle of the bands" contest immediately comes under threat when the school's Reverend Sister learns views the band as anti-establishment and anti-Catholic.
