![]() Would you break the law for a pal in deep trouble? This is the predicament a group of close friends face in writer/director Dean Imperial’s crime comedy Caper. A distraught Phil (Ron Palais) fears he will lose his job after he accidentally texts an inappropriate photo to his boss. So his friends—led by theater director Chris (Christopher Tramantana)—band together to delete the text by hook or by crook. Caper screens during the SXSW Film & TV Festival at the Alamo South Lamar at 10:15 p.m. March 7, 3:15 p.m. March 9, and 2:45 p.m. March 14. Dean Imperial makes his feature-length directorial debut with Caper. He has written for such TV series as The Godfather of Harlem, Hotel Cocaine, and Imposters.
