Emergente Youth International Film Festival 2026
The second annual Emergente Youth International Film Festival will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m. May 23 at the Eastside Cinema at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex. The family-friendly festival platforms work by filmmakers under the age of 19 from across the world. This year’s Emergente Youth International Film Festival comprises of 13 shorts from the United States, Canada, and Mexico that are bundled into two packages: all ages and 14+. The Emergente Youth International Film Festival is part of the Cine La America International Film Festival’s Emergente Youth Film Project, which includes the the El Club de Clout Content Creator Workshop afterschool program for Austin students aged 12-18.
