The Texas Film Experience
![]() Curious about how a film or a TV series is made in Texas? On March 12, the Texas Film Experience will offer attendees an insider’s look at film and TV production in the Lone Star State through demonstrations by industry professionals and interactive experiences. The event will focus on high-profile productions past and present, from Dazed and Confused and Spy Kids to Friday Night Lights to such Taylor Sheridan TV shows as Yellowstone and Landman. The Texas Film Experience will be held 12-3 p.m. March 12 on the South Lawn of the Texas Capitol during the SXSW Film & TV Festival. The event is organized by Media for Texas, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding film and TV production in Texas as well as lobbying to increase funds available through the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program (TMIIIP).
