Disney Tim Burton's
Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail
Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange? And are you ready to scream in the town of Halloween? From now through Nov. 30, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center dares visitors to take a stroll through the Halloweentown of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. A collaboration between the Wildflower Center and Texas Performing Arts, the Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail retells the ghoulish goings-on of the stop-motion animated fantasy through light installations, sculptures, and music spread across 8,300 square feet at Austin's botanic garden and arboretum. In addition to the Light Trail, the Texas Performing Arts presents multiple film- and TV-themed events at the Bass Concert Hall through the end of the year: Twilight in Concert: The 15th Anniversary Tour on Oct. 11; Avatar: The Lastbender; The 20th Anniversary Tour on Oct. 20; A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin: Home Alone 35th Anniversary on Nov. 29; and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, followed by a Q&A with star Chevy Chase, on Dec. 16.
