June 2025 Programming
The Austin Film Society's June 2025 programming at the AFS Cinema is highlighted by the series Club Med, featuring Bay of Angels, Boom! in IB-Technicolor 35mm, Swept Away, and Contempt. New releases and Best of the Fests selections include Desert of Namibia, Jazzy featuring a virtual Q&A with director Morrisa Maltz, Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted, and the 2025 Sundance Film Festival Short Film Tour. Repertory screenings include Killer of Sheep, Ms. 45, Night of the Living Dead (1968), Ran, Rear Window, Saving Face, Shall We Dance? , Streets of Fire, Will, and the Queer Cinema: Lost & Found selection Forbidden Love. Lates selections comprise of Butterfly Kiss, Gwen and the Book of Sand, In My Skin, Rampo Noir, and The Tragedy of Man.
