![]() The Austin Film Society's February 2025 programming at the AFS Cinema is highlighted three series—the Valentine's Day-inspired Love Month, the Jiab Prachakul-programmed/The Contemporary Austin-presented Sweet Solitude, and Trouble and Desire: Hal Hartley’s Long Island Trilogy and Early Shorts—and Richard Linklater's Before Trilogy in 35mm. Special events Saturday Night in 35mm with director Jason Reitman in attendance and Austin-based writer/director Andrew Bujalski's There There in conjunction with the Museum of Human Achievement and Fusebox’s installation that is based on the 2022 dramedy. New documentaries include Ernest Cole: Lost and Found and the Science on Screen selection Shelf Life. Repertory selections include The Annihilation of Fish and the late director David Lynch's Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive. Lates includeTime of Roses and Murdering the Devil. The Queer Cinema: Lost & Found series brings the 1965 Canadian landmark romantic drama Winter Kept us Warm to the AFS Cinema.
